Mary Lois Madison 87, Springfield, MO. passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, after a long illness. When she passed away, she was one day shy of her 88th birthday. Mary was born on November 5, 1938, in Ava, Missouri, to Frederick Harry Moeller and Grace Lofton (Proctor) Moeller. As a devoted homemaker, she dedicated her life to nurturing her family and creating a home filled with care, love, and laughter.

Mary was a quiet and shy person, who loved her family. She enjoyed being outside and caring for her flowers and yard. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Grace Moeller, by her husband, Jackie L. Madison, her sister: Betty Mccracken, and two brothers: John Moeller and Wayne Moeller. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle DePriest, and her sons, Brian and Michael DePriest, who carry on her legacy of love and compassion. Additionally, she leaves behind her brothers, Glen and Fred Moeller, and her beloved grandson, Derek DeAtley, who will always remember her gentle guidance and support.

Throughout her life, Mary created a sanctuary of love within her home in Springfield, Missouri. She cherished family gatherings, where her infectious laughter resonated. As we reflect on her life, we remember a woman who profoundly touched the hearts of everyone around her, leaving behind her family, a legacy of love that will forever inspire.

Mary’s life will be remembered with a memorial visitation scheduled from 11:00 a.m. till Noon on November 9, 2026, at Greenlawn Funeral Home South where family and friends will gather to share stories and honor her memory. A Graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, providing a space for reflection.
