Mary Lou Beyer, 95, of Strafford, Missouri passed away Monday, December 4, 2023, at Mercy Hospital.
Mary was born August 5, 1928, in Springfield, Missouri to Charles and Gertrude Jones.
She worked for Judge Keet and Homer Wampler and later worked for St. John’s/Mercy Hospital.
She spent a lot of time working in her garden, growing flowers and tomatoes, she enjoyed her time with her yorkies and cairn terriers, and traveling to the beach at Christmas. She went on tours to Cancun in the fall.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Beyer after a 38 year marriage, and son Ronnie Bruce Beyer, who passed away at the age of 15. She is survived by her children, Diane Benitz, Robert (Robbie) Lee Beyer Jr., Roberta Uzzell, and Linda Evans-Konoff. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Randy Walker, Tyler Evans, Kyle Evans, Rhonda Ybarra, Ryan Uzzell, Krystal Keen, Jeremiah Beyer and 8 great grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 am Monday at Greenlawn Funeral Home East. No services are planned currently.
