Mary Lou Graves, age 86, of Bolivar, MO, passed away Monday, November 10, 2014, in her home. She was born December 18, 1927, in Long Lane, MO, to Albert and Violet (Ford) Metcalf. She was united in marriage to Albert Lee Graves March 8, 1948, and to this union three children were born. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 40 years Albert Graves; two sisters: Margie Metcalf, and Willene Gann; and one brother Duane Metcalf.
She is survived by three children: Ellen Belden and husband Will of McGregor, MN, Phillip Graves and wife Sandra of Hesperia, CA, and Nancy Martralli and husband Rick of Bolivar, MO; 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; one brother John Metcalf and wife Joyce of Fulton, MO; one sister Donna McDowell of Belton, MO; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, November 14, 2014, at New Bethel Cemetery Halfway, MO, with Bro. Bruce Williams officiating. Visitation will be held before the service from 1:00 to 2:30 PM on Friday, November 14, 2014, in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to either the American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel Bolivar, MO.
