Mary Louise Glenn 92, Springfield, Mo. passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 in Mercy Villa Nursing Home. Born near Springfield, on November 25, 1924, she was an area resident all of her life. Mary had worked at Mercy Villa for 31 years, retiring at the age of 70. She loved spending her time with her family and friends, She was known as mom to all her kids, and as “Nanny” to her grand-kids and all the neighbor kids.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Jasper Goddard and Irene (Branson) Goddard, two children; Mary Irene and Donnie Ray. She was also preceded in death by her siblings; Max Goddard, Leon Goddard, Anna Mae Beach,and Jeannelle Robertson. She is survived by her children; Lester Crawford, Alice Ryan, Ralphetta Wisecarver and Ruby Hogan, 19 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren, and by her siblings; Donald Goddard, Irieta McCafferty, Jenny Lowery, and Lee Rogers. Mary will be greatly missed by all her loved ones.The family would like to thank everyone at Mercy Villa for all the love and care provided to Mary.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 23, 2016 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow in Rose Hill cemetery, near Willard, Mo. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
