Mary Margaret (Marlin) Stone went to be with the Lord, November 9, 2013. Mary was born to Luther G. Marlin and Mildred H. Marlin February 23, 1932. Mary was married to Norman Dale Stone, November 21, 1953. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Gilbert Marlin and Mildred Helen (Price) Marlin and her sister Barbara Ann Hendershot.
Mary is survived by her children, Shelia Nicodemus and Terry of Springfield. Sherry Davis and Ted of Springfield. Granddaughters Lori Parker and Kirk of Homer, GA. and Tammy Woolsey and Chad of Willard, MO. One great grandson Tucker Lane Woolsey and one unborn Great grandchild.
Mary was a long time member of Pleasant Valley Church. She loved to garden and watch her birds. She also loved to see the animals at Southwest MO Humane Society and donated her tin cans and newspapers.
Special thanks to a beloved friend Mike Gillham for so many chores around Mary’s home. Also Norma Stone Rushing and Rita Froula for their help in Mary’s care. James River Care Center and Hospice Compasses.
