Mary Martha McCleary, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Magnolia Square. She was born on July 19, 1934 in Blanche, MO. to Lemuel Berry and Lottie (Hicks) Berry. She married Lowell McCleary on March 11, 1953 and he preceded her in death on November 27, 1999
Mary was a member of West Atlantic Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading her Bible, singing, playing the piano, and guitar. At the close of the day Mary prayed for her loving family. The family would like to thank the staff at Magnolia Square for the exceptional care our mom received.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters: Glen Morefield, and Sue Crawford, step-daughter: Shirlene Mansker, and one brother: Elmer Berry
Survivors include her daughters: Carolyn (Kenneth) Goodman, Linda Starr, and Loretta (Sam) Huey, and Regina (Keith) Lafferty, three step-daughters; Shirla May Beskel, Virginia Daughtery, Judy Creson, one step-son: Bobby McCleary, and a brother: Carroll Riley, sister; Shirley Twitty, thirteen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, several step- grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6- 8 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home North Chapel
Funeral Service will take place at 10 am at Greenlawn Funeral Home North Chapel with burial to follow at White Chapel.
