Matthew Thomas Wickizer was born September 22, 1988. He went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 11, 2016.
Matt grew up in Ozark, graduated from high school in 2007 and later attended OTC. He was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a people person who loved and cared deeply for his wife, family and friends. Matt had a wonderful sense of humor, was quick witted and brought laughter to many conversations. He will be greatly missed, never forgotten and one day his family will reunite with him in heaven.
Matt is survived by his wife, Laura, of Ozark; parents, Mark and Teresa Wickizer of Ozark; sister Melissa and husband Matthew McClelland and their three children: Kayleigh Faith, Aaliyah Hope and Riley Matthew, all of Ozark; grandparents Frank and Audrey Neas of Marshfield and Freida Wickizer of Springfield; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 16 from 12:30 to 2:00 at First Baptist Church of Ozark with services at 2:30. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Springfield.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Ozark to be applied to the building fund.
