Melinda Kay Braswell Rozean, devoted mother and grandmother, loving wife and daughter passed peacefully into the presence of God on Friday, October 8, 2010, at the age of 48. She married Curtis Rozean on June 11, 1983 and selflessly served her husband, children, and church ministry for over 25 years.
As a talented educator she worked at the Evangel College Preschool, Willard South, Robberson Elementary, and David Harrison Elementary. Since October 2005, Melinda bravely fought cancer, standing on Isaiah 41:10.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert F. Braswell; and brother, Roger Neal Braswell. She is survived by her husband, Curtis Rozean; son, Parker; daughters, Kenna and Leah; granddaughter, Jaeydin; mother, Idonna Braswell; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Clint Gross; and brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Jackie Braswell.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 12, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Greenlawn East. The funeral will be held at Central Assembly of God on Wednesday, at 10 a.m.
