Melody Francis Fergerson was born June 3, 1950 in Springfield, the eighth of fifteen children born to Keith and Louella Fergerson. She graduated high school at Pleasant Hope, Missouri in 1968. She worked for Zenith for over 20 years.
She has two beautiful daughters that were her life, Tina Lynn and Jenny Leigh. She loved to cross stitch, collect dolls, spending time with her family, and her pets, Pupper, Charlie and Alli.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Billy Fergerson and David Fergerson and two sisters, Delores Joy Hoover and Alva Alvinna Fergerson. She is survived by her two daughters, Tina Howard and husband, Dale, of Billings, Missouri and Jenner Penner and husband, Dan, of Republic; siblings Elizabeth Taylor and husband, Lee; Wendell and Shirley Fergerson; Dean Hoover and wife, Lynda; Ruth and Kenneth Hoover; Gary Fergerson and wife, Judy; Susan Morelock and husband, Mike; Janice Craig and husband, Eddie; Phillip Fergerson and wife, Patricia; Julie Fergerson; Leisa Spurgeon and husband, Danny; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, October 8, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 9, at 1:00 PM at the funeral home, with burial immediately following at Pleasant Hope Cemetery.
