Mr. Michael A Hicks, age 85, of Bolivar, Missouri, passed away on October 23rd, 2026, at CMH Care Facility   Mike was born March 27th, 1941, in Elkland, Missouri, to Alfred Marion Hicks and Zadie Margaret (Cantrell) Hicks, and was raised in Fair Grove Missouri. He married Janice Jo Jones on April 29, 1959, in Forsyth, Missouri, and together they shared 67 years of marriage before her passing.   Mike and Janice attended Fair Grove church of Christ for the last 25 years.  Mike drove semis for many years and over 3 million miles (accident free).  Mike was most proud of his years with Campbell 66 Freight.  Mike also drove for AG, Banta Fruit Company and Interstate Brands as well as several other trucking companies based out of Springfield Missouri. He enjoyed fishing, quail hunting in his younger years, farming as a young man, good food and good friends, as well as spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife Janice, father and mother, two brothers and three sisters.  Mike is survived by; daughters Janine Sitton (Kevin) and Jodie McCrickard (Ray); sons Daniel Hicks (Lori) and Doug Hicks (Tonya); nine grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
