Mike was a great a man and a great friend to my son, the great times they had together. I will be forever grateful for his friendship to my son and for the sacrifice that he made for country. I enjoyed seeing Mike and his wife at all of my grandson's birthday parties. My best memory of Mike is the time that Mike, Ivan, Zachary, Zach, and myself went to the lake. We had a fabulous time; Mike's smile was so contiguous. Mike and Zachary was riding on the very back of the boat, which boaters know you are not supposed to do. My grandson Zach show a Water Patrol and had to wave at him, but the State Trooper took notice of two young men sitting on the boat where they are not supposed to sit. Needless to say, we got pulled over on the water. The first thing that happened was funny. Zach looked right at the State Trooper and said my dad is a cop also, Ivan followed by saying my dad is a cop too. The State Trooper let us go, sure it was because of Mike and Zachary. Any time I was around Mike there was never a dull moment. Love you brother, going to miss you and everything you stood for. Mike will not be forgotten. You all are in my prayers and thoughts.
