Michael Keith Blankenship went to be with Jesus on Saturday, August 1st, 2026, after a long and hard-fought illness. Mike was born in Springfield, Missouri on June 10th, 1963, and was 63 years old when he left us.
Mike is survived by his wife of 42 years, Vickie Jo Blankenship, his son Jesse Michael Blankenship, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters: Sherry Cook of Fair Grove and Sharon White of Springfield.
Preceding Mike in death was his father, Lowell Dean Blankenship; his mother, Shelby Jean, and step-father, Eugene (Bud) Williamson; a brother, Rickey Dean Blankenship and other family members and friends.
Mike enjoyed 45 years in the trucking industry. Prior to trucking he was employed by Litton Industries.
Mike was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
His care has been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
