Michael Lea loving son of Cloye and Laverne Lea, Rogersville, MO, passed away October 24, 2021.
He was a force to be reckoned with since May 26th, 1952. Michael was a pillar of strength to his family. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He had a passion for auto restoration and was a member of the Carpenters Union for many years. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Navy. His greatest accomplishment was doing all he could to make a happy life for his wife and children. Together they exemplified love, companionship and sacrifice. He is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Deborah Lea, and two sons, Nathan Daily and Joshua Lea. He will be dearly missed by his grandson Pearson Daily and brothers, Cloye Lea, Paul Lea and Randy Lea, and sister, Deborah Shinn, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
Michael was a thoughtful, generous person who deeply loved those he cared about. While he was strong and proud, he was also kind-hearted and never judged others as he too, knew difficult times. His life was a great journey filled with beautiful memories and he will be greatly missed.
