Michael Phillip Seigart tragically lost his life while doing one of his favorite things, riding his motorcycle.
Mike was a California native from Apple Valley, then he and his siblings relocated to Missouri with his mom, Ruby.
Mike met his wife, Crystal, in high-school and continued dating her until they married in 2003. From then on, they started raising a family to date with three children and ultimately continued to grow the family even more with two grandchildren.
Mike was a very hard and dedicated worker, sometimes working three jobs at a time with very little sleep just to provide for his growing family. Mike was also always eager to lend a hand where needed to help others in need. He was the sole income provider for the family allowing his wife to home school his older daughter then onto his youngest daughter.
Mike worked various jobs including warehousing and other work but seemed to love working in the food industry. He worked his way up from the bottom, doing cashier and food preparation duties, learning as much as he could.
He moved up to managerial positions, then wanting to further his experience and education, he began taking culinary classes at Ozark Technical Community College. He was due to graduate and get his degree in May 2025.
He had an adoration for the DC comic book hero, Superman, which he more or less molded his life around, collecting various memorabilia and sporting the big “S” on his chest on various t-shirts.
Mike is survived by: his wife Crystal (Hedden) Seigart, three children: Alex, Shelby and Kyrie Seigart. He was graced with two grandchildren, Jasper and Adonis. He also leaves behind his father, Robert Seigart Sr, sister Angelina Christian and brother Robert Seigart Jr.
Michael will always be remembered for his hard work and dedication to his family and friends as well as his generosity to give what time he could to others.
A Celebration of Michael’s life will be at 4:00 pm, Saturday, April 19, 2025, at East Grand Church of Christ, with a visitation from 2-4 pm.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to help defray funeral expenses.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Greenlawn North Funeral Home.
