Michael T. Girth, age 54, of Springfield passed away on August 7, 2012. He was born on January 17, 1958 in Springfield, MO to the late John and Kathleen (Salsman) Girth Osborn. Michael is survived by his brother: Steve Race and his wife JoAnn of Kansas City, MO., a nephew Tom Race and his wife Robin, two nieces, Stephanie Race and Kristina Hansel and her husband Ryan, two great-nieces, Sophia Hansel and KelliAnne Race. He is also survived by other family members and friends. Michael was a longtime bartender “Mix Master” at Johnny Loo’s, Custer’s and Cartoon’s in Springfield.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 11:00 am, in Greenlawn Funeral Home South, 441 W. Battlefield, Springfield, with burial following in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
