Michelle Houck, 45, of Springfield, passed away peacefully in Cox South Hospital, with her family at her side, at 7:20 a.m., August 2, 2009. She was born in Cordell, Okla., on January 12, 1964. Michelle graduated from Harrison High School in Colorado Springs, Colo. She was a program coordinator of traffic services for Safety Council of the Ozarks from 2008 to present. She was previously an office manager for Correction Services from 1998 to 2008. She was a member of Billings United Methodist Church. She is survived by her parents, Fletcher and Margaret Lantz; children, Andrea, Shannon and Peyton Houck; grandchildren, Teegan Riley and Patton; brothers, Alan and Lynda Lantz, and Tony Lantz; sister Nicole and Dave Rook; nephew Alex Rook; and friends, Tom Hunter, Katie Bond, Cheryl West and Stacy Brockman. Funeral services will be held in Greenlawn Funeral Home East, 3540 E. Seminole, at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2009. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be prior to the service on Tuesday, from 12 to 1 p.m., in the funeral home.
