Milajni Marie Carrizales, 11, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and God. Born on July 11, 2015, Milajni brought an immeasurable amount of joy, love, laughter, and light to everyone who knew her from the moment she arrived.
Milajni was a bright and vibrant fifth grader who was so excited to start sixth grade with all of her friends. She loved reading, math, drawing, dancing, singing, tennis, pickleball, swimming, riding her bike, playing UNO and the board game Mouse Trap, Roblox, Fortnite, and cooking. She also loved Kuromi, Hello Kitty and Friends, and all the fun and imagination that came along with them.
Halloween was Milajni’s favorite holiday. She loved getting dressed up, getting all dolled up, doing her makeup, and showing off her creativity and personality. She loved having fun with her looks and making every occasion an opportunity to express herself.
Milajni was known for her heart of gold, her big and contagious smile, her beautiful green apple-caramel eyes, and her infectious laugh. She was polite, well-mannered, fiercely kind, and a young lady of God who possessed the strength and courage of one thousand Eleven’s from her favorite show, Stranger Things.
Milajni had a personality that could light up any room. You could usually find her “big chilling,” watching her favorite shows and movies and giving her honest opinions as the family’s very own show and movie critic. She loved playing Fortnite and Roblox, watching “brain rot” on YouTube, dancing, singing, swimming, cooking, getting dressed up, and simply enjoying life.
Above all, Milajni loved her family. She was a wonderful big sister who loved spending time with her sisters, being a role model for her younger sisters, and showing them how to use their imaginations. She loved and cared deeply for her brothers and sisters and found countless ways to bring laughter, love, and happiness into the lives of everyone around her.
Milajni had a heart that was bigger than she was. She could not stand to see someone being bullied or treated unfairly. She believed in standing up for those who were being bullied and never hesitated to make someone feel better. She had a special way of lifting others up with kind words and genuine compliments, reminding them of their worth and helping them see the good in themselves. Her fierce kindness was one of the many things that made Milajni so extraordinary.
Her favorite colors were black, pink, and purple. She filled our lives with adventures, motivation, strength, courage, hugs, cuddles, kisses, laughter, and more love than words could ever describe. Her presence made every day brighter, and her memory will continue to inspire everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Milajni is now in Heaven, wearing her beautiful angel wings and reunited with her grandmother Edie, her little brother Jeramiah, and the rest of her beloved family who passed before her. We imagine her finally able to fly as high as she wants and wherever she wants, free from anything that could ever hold her back. While our hearts ache because we can no longer hold her in our arms, we find comfort knowing that she is surrounded by love and watching over us from Heaven.
Though her time with us was far too short, the love Milajni gave will last forever. Her smile, her laughter, her courage, her kindness, her imagination, and her beautiful spirit will live on in everyone who loved her.
Milajni is survived and deeply missed by her parents, Anthony with his wife Angi, and Delacey along with her fiancé Cory; Milajni’s siblings of all kinds, Leland, Zaria, A’Lyah, Cory Jr., and Cruze; her grandparents, Alicia, Ramon, Tim and beloved family and friends. Also, Milani’s beloved pets Snoopy, Charlie, Roscoe, Rollie, and Ezra.
A celebration of Milajni’s beautiful and inspiring life will take place on September 19, 2026. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, with the service beginning at 2:00 PM. Guests are welcome to wear black, pink, or purple in honor of Milajni and her luminous spirit.
