Judith Ann Bear, 72, Springfield, MO. passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 in Cox Medical Center South after a long illness. She was born on May 3, 1951, in Springfield, MO. to Nelson and Jamie (Huff) Bear. She was born with Cerebral palsy, and fought hard all her life to be normal. A lifelong area resident, she had lived in the original home place until recent years. Recently she was a resident and cared for by the team members of Springfield Rehabilitation. Judith was a Hillcrest High School graduate and she loved reading.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents, all her grandparents, aunts, uncles, on the Bear and Huff side of the the families,  and her niece Jackie Ross. She is survived by her sister, Janet Brooks and her husband Jack, from Fair Grove, MO, and their family, Jason Brooks (Michelle), Bolivar, MO. Tara (Brooks) Joy (Jaxon) and Katie Brooks, two brothers: Tom Bear and his wife, Judy, from Jefferson City, MO. and David Bear and his wife, Brenda, from Eureka, MO, their children: Ryan Bear (Brandy), San Diego, CA, Nealie Bear, Moberly, MO, Clairann and Kyran, as well as her cousins in the Bear and Huff families, and her special friends: Iva Williams (Gene) and Loretta Metscher.

Visitation will be from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. A private service will follow.
