Monya Louise Wallis, age 77, of Springfield, MO, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at Cox Medical Center South. She was born on October 12, 1937, in Springfield, MO, to Herbert and Margaret (Reynolds) Martin. She was a member of the Pathways United Methodist Church. Monya had a tremendous love for her children and grandchildren. She took great pride in being a Dairy Farmer’s wife. She retired from PFI Western Store.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Johnny; her sister Belva Dee and husband Joe Stralford; also her toddler sister Glenda. She is survived by Debby (Dave) Whalen; Margaret (Mark) Glorfeld; Gay (Dennis) Bolin; 5 grandchildren: John Sims, Jason Sims, Marilyn Glorfeld, Jessie Bolin and Jamie Bolin-Harter and many great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Doris Stokes; uncles, nieces and nephews; Joan Sparks, J. Hal Hastings; friends and neighbors.
