Morgan Nelson Ezell Jr. 78, Springfield, MO. passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021, after a brief illness. He was born on January 16, 1943, in Jigger, Louisiana, to Morgan and Evelyn (Shaw) Ezell. Morgan was a retired owner- operator of a mobile home transportation and installation company. He was a member of Brookline First Baptist Church.Morgan enjoyed gardening and meeting news friends. He never met a stranger and loved to talk with others.
Morgan was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother: Donnis Ezell, two sons: an infant son and Morgan Ezell III, and one grand-daughter: Brittany Angelica Martinez. He is survived by his wife, Lavonne Ezell, one son: Scott Ezell and his partner: Kristy Crawford, two daughters: Kelley Martinez and Melissa Ezell, four grandchildren: Scott, Troy, Arwen, and Seth and one great-grand daughter: Belle, five sisters: Peggy Hemphill, Elaine McKay, Reba Ezell, Linda Robertson, and Melissa Savage and her husband, Bob.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at Grenlawn Funeral Home North. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2021, in Turkey Creek Cemetery, Gilbert, LA.
