Wanda Faye Higdon, 85, passed away December 19, 2020. She was born in Borger, TX on November 29, 1935 to Absalum Bradley and Sarah Jennive (Leonard) Hall. She is survived by two sons, Lonnie Wayne Stilley, Buffalo, MO, Kelvin Douglas Stilley, Meridan, KS and one daughter, Sandra Lynn Scott, Nixa, MO. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Elaine Kay Myers. She was a beloved mother, granny and aunt to her children, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Wanda was a kind, loving and generous person who loved family and friends with all her heart. She was a person who always wanted to help others in any way she could. She loved to travel, getting together with family and friends and taking pictures of her trips, her children and her grand and great-grandkids. She loved to laugh and play games. She was always present for graduations, weddings and any other special occasions. She always made the day brighter by her presence.
Wanda was baptized as one of Jehovah’s witnesses on February 23, 1963 and loved sharing her faith with others. She had strong faith in the promise of a resurrection into a perfect new world.
I would like to give a special thank you to all the family who were able to help with her care and made it possible for her to be home during her final weeks.
A memorial service will be held, through Zoom, on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. If anyone is interested in attending the service please contact her daughter at sandylynn2525@yahoo.com.
