Myra Jean Roberts, 74, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away at her home on July 15, 2026.
Myra was born in Springfield and spent most of her life there, with several years in Arlington, Texas. She worked for more than thirty years at RBX, where she was known as a loyal and dependable employee. Throughout her life, she quietly persevered through numerous health challenges with determination and independence.
Myra enjoyed shopping, following her favorite sports teams, and adding to her collections, especially her bears and dolls. She especially enjoyed finding Christmas gifts for her family each year, expressing her love through thoughtful generosity. Though she valued her privacy and independence, she was deeply loved by her family and those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest E. Roberts and Marcella P. Roberts.
She is survived by her brother, Paul Roberts; her nephews, Neil Roberts, Clark Roberts, and Alec Roberts; and several cousins and extended family members.
Visitation will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home South, 441 West Battlefield Road, Springfield, Missouri, on Thursday, July 23, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
