Louise Woods, 82, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 8, 2011; surrounded by her children in her home.
She was the daughter of the late Reverend Eulish and Goldie Speake and a loving big sister to Richard, Eddie, Jerry Dean, and Catherine, all deceased. She cherished her sister Nancy, brother David and wife Wanda, as well as her sister-in-law and close friend Delores.
Louise was the most wonderful, giving, caring mama of Pauline, Steve, Ruth and husband Rev. Ron DeWitt, and Regina and husband Aaron Bonkoski. She doted on her grandchildren; Stephanie Ashley, Amanda and husband Larry White, Robert DeWitt, Sarah Foss, and Phillip Bonkoski. She will always be the treasured “Great-grams” of Breyanna Ashley-White. Raised in the Assemblies of God church, Louise found comfort and fellowship at Bethel Assembly of God.
Visitation will be in Greenlawn Funeral Home North on February 10, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and continue on February 11 at 1 p.m. before the service begins at 2 p.m. She will be laid to rest in the White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
