Nancy Evelyn Mantonya 74, Springfield, Mo. passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017, in Mercy Hospital. She was born on June 19, 1942, in Kansas City, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Pointer and Irene Sanders, and by her son-in-law; Michael S. Radak. Nancy was a missionary along with her husband for almost 46 years, with the Baptist Bible Fellowship International. She was also a housewife and mother to her children, and a member of the Cherry Street Baptist Church.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Henry, her two daughters; Jayme Radak and Robin L. Campbell and her husband Stephen T. Campbell, two sons; James Morris Mantonya IV, and his wife, Lisa, and John Mark Mantonya, 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and a daughter-in-law; Deborah Mantonya. She is also survived by a whole host of friends and spiritual children and grandchildren, both in the U.S. and in Brazil.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017, in Cherry Street Baptist Church, Springfield, Mo. a visitation will be held at the church, from 11:30 a.m. until service time.Memorial Donations may be made to the Cherry Street Baptist Church.
