Nancy Jeanette Ford, 74, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026, at her home. She was born on September 4, 1951, in Fair Grove, Missouri, to Truman and Nadine Lumley.
Jeanette was a graduate of Central High School, where she proudly performed as a member of the Central High School Kilties. She dedicated many years of her career to Car Color and Supply and Dancey Collision Repair, serving as a bookkeeper. Jeanette also had a lifelong love for animals. Her love for animals led her to breed dogs and cats for nearly twenty years.
She is lovingly remembered by her son, Chris Ford and his wife, Katie; her grandchildren, Zach Ford and his wife, Alexis, Kara McDonald and her husband, Gage, Abby Bassham and her husband, Corbin, Jackson Ford, and Greyson Ford; and her great-granddaughter, Addie Ford. Each of them was a source of immense pride, joy, strength, and kindness that will continue through the generations she treasured so deeply.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Truman Lumley and Nadine Lumley, and her beloved daughter, Sarah Ford.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in the memories she leaves behind and in the love she shared so freely. Her son, Chris, had an opportunity to tell her about Jesus and his saving grace in the last months of her life. He wanted to leave you with a verse from Matthew 11:28-30 (ESV):
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
