Nancy Jean White,age 62, of Springfield was born November 16, 1948 and passed away June 11, 2011 after a long battle with breast cancer. Nancy died in her home with her loving family around her.
She graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1966 and was united in marriage to Larry White on July 21, 1966 in Hillcrest Memorial Presbyterian Church. Nancy was retired from the family business, Triple Play and Super Fan. She was an active member of Hamlin Baptist Church and accepeted Jesus as her savior at a young age.
Nancy’s life revolved around her family and her home. She loved decorating and was an amazing seamstress. Nancy had the sweetest spirit, unmatched by anyone we have ever known.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ressie Schell; and a brother, Larry Schell.
She is survived by her husband, Larry White; children, Bryan and Laurie White, Jeff White, Jennifer and Ryan Riggs; grandchildren, Austin and Kensen White, Jared, Ashley and Emma White, and Ella and Avery Riggs; brothers, Denny and his wife Jeanie Schell and her brother’s wife Maryann Schell; sisters, Beverly and her husband Kenneth Hill, and Charlene Gardner; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in Hamlin Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Cedar Bluff Cemetery, Fair Grove, Mo. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2011 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
