Nancy Marie Cline, born August 9, 1929, went home with the Lord on September 21, 2012.
By wisdom a house is built and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. Prov 24: 3-4.
A home filled with love and guidance is a precious gift from God. Mom provided that for her husband and daughters. She was a wonderful example of the Proverbs virtuous woman. She ran her own business, Interior Fashions, for 30 years. Draperies across this city are a memorial to her talents. Her 66 years of marriage show a deep and abiding love for home and family.
She is survived by her husband, Dorrell Cline; daughter, Donna Tiller and husband Roger; daughter Candace Smitley; granddaughter Melissa Tiller Stark; grandson Ryan Tiller and wife Tara; and grandson Brady Smitley; and two great-grandchildren, Peyton Stark and Greyson Tiller.
A special thank you to Sheri Collins for the hours of love and compassion she showed to both mom and dad. Also, a special note of thanks to Joan Ridgley who has cared for mom the past two months. Her gift of laughter brought sunshine to all our hearts. And finally a sincere thanks to Hospice Compassus for all their loving, gentle care of mom these past three weeks.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice Compassus, 1465 E. Primrose, Springfield, MO 65804.
Family visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012 in Greenlawn Funeral Home East. Funeral service is 12:30 PM, Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012 in the funeral home with burial in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
