Nancy Sue Davis, 86, Elkland, MO. formerly of Pleasant Hope, MO. passed away August 12, 2020, in her home. She was born on January 10, 1934, in Springfield, MO. to Ed and Ethel (Salley) Jones. She was a retired cook, for Pleasant Hope Schools. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles E. Davis, her son, David Denney, her daughter, Michelle Davis, her step-son, Emmett Davis and her step-daughter, Patricia Menter, her brother: Robert (Bud) Jones, and her sisters: Lorene Fielder, Mary Fangrow, Jeannie Welsch, and Barbara Appleby. She is survived by her three sons: Charles Denney and his wife, Debra, Ed Davis, and Patrick Davis and his wife Sherry, and two daughters: Theresa Patterson and Tammy Vinyard, and her husband Jim, her step-daughter: Teri Yates, her grandchildren; Stephanie Hillenburg, Alissa Amalfi, Dawnette Arbo, Craig Hunt, Desiree Patterson, Dustin Patterson, Julian Davis, Alex Davis, Andrew Davis, Cheyenne Davis, Steven Menter, Rick Morgan, Carrie Haywood, Michael Vinyard, Mark Vinyard, David Vinyard, Adam Vinyard, Katie McCall, Jazmen Vinyard, Mariah Vinyard, Junior Vinyard, Jameson Vinyard, Mason Vinyard Midian Vinyard and Gavin Vinyard. She also had 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchild.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at Bellview cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
