Naomi Ruth Crawford, age 80, of Highlandville, Missouri, passed away on August 13, 2026, at her home. Naomi was born to James Hardin and Grethel Hardin on August 25, 1945 in Grassy, MO. She was raised in Grassy, MO. Naomi was united in marriage to Edward Crawford on August 31, 1974. Naomi and Edward shared 32 years of marriage before Edward’s untimely passing on April 19, 2007. The couple were blessed with 2 children Carlton and Kobby.

Naomi was employed as a Pre – K and High School Teacher with several school districts before retiring in 2011. When not working, she had many interests and pastimes including horseback riding, sewing and reading. Nothing, however, brought her more fulfillment than spending time volunteering with the Girl Scouts. Naomi will be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward Crawford, eight brothers and one sister. She is survived by her son Carlton Crawford; daughter Kobby Crawford; two grandchildren, Alex Crawford and Bailey Crawford and one brother, Gordon Hardin.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Greenlawn Funeral Home South with burial to follow at Missouri Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Naomi’s memory to the Girl Scouts of Missouri Heartland.
