Mary Lee Montgomery left a message on December 17, 2020:
I just now became aware of Naomi’s passing and was saddened to learn that she had suffered with Parkinson’s disease in her final days. Some twenty years ago I met Naomi and Bill when they parked their motor home at our tree farm in McCleary Washington while they ministered to our church family. Bill inspired with his messages and Naomi’s musical talent was a soothing delight. She inspired me with her early morning devotionals saying “don’t let the bedclothes hold you down” and then started the day with a rigorous walk! Her walk with the Lord was an inspiration to all she met.

Our hearts are broken here, but we rejoice to think of those once pained feet now dancing before her beloved Savior... many people praying for you, for comfort, strength and peace. May He carry the whole Hayes family, especially brother Bill, through this season.
Betty Jeter Jernigan left a message on November 3, 2017:
My recollections of Bill & Naomi Hayes are from my girlhood in Texas and from their relationship to Talmage Butler. I still remember them singing, "Serve Him with All of Your Heart," and being profoundly touched. In scattered encounters with them through the years, that phrase characterized my view of them. What a beautiful, servant's heart Naomi exemplified throughout her years. I was blessed to know them both. My condolences to the family.
