Nettie May Bushong Hudson passed away peacefully on October 25, 2010. She was born in Noble, Ozark County, Missouri on January 9, 1937.
Nettie enjoyed her life, her family and her friends to the fullest. She was baptized at a young age and was a member of Smith Chapel, Church of Christ in Ozark County, Missouri.
She enjoyed arts and crafts and received many blue ribbons at the Ozark Empire Fair. She also enjoyed traveling, outdoor activities and meeting new people.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Gavaughnna, her son Gerry Hudson, her father, Ralph Mahan, and her brothers Phillip and Jimmy Mahan.
She is survived by her loving husband, Douglas M. Hudson, her son Terry (Janet) Hudson, and grandchildren, Valerie (Brandon) Welch, Rachel and Ryan Hudson, and one great-grandson. She is also survived by her mother, Dohna Mahan, two brothers, Jerald and Tommy Mahan, and one sister, Phyllis Mullins. She will be greatly missed by other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
A visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m., prior to the funeral service. Funeral services will be held in Greenlawn Funeral Home North at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Burial will follow at 2 p.m., in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
