Nina had a quiet, gentle grace of a true southern lady. She loved her family. She instilled in her children Christian moral values, a love for nature and how to protect and care for animals, and most importantly, the understanding that race does not determine whether a person is good or bad and that GOD created all people and loves us equally, as well as other valuable lessons too numerous to count.
Nina lived a full life and in her lifetime she has been a part of many church families, serving in various roles including Sunday School teacher and Children’s Church teacher, Secretary, and singing in the choir. Nina was a graduate of Draughon’s Business College and knew the importance of education. She loved to read books, watch old movies, board games, listen to Good ‘ole Gospel music, and family time. She had a beautiful laugh and had a wonderful sense of humor, sometimes surprising us with her quick wit.
