Nona Fay Fleming, age 76, of Walnut Grove, MO, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 in her home. She was born January 12, 1939, in Ocie, MO, to Joe and Cora (Myers) Brown. Nona was united in marriage to Frank K. Fleming in Springfield, MO.
She enjoyed working on the farm, baking, and cooking, and planting flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank K. Fleming; one son, Michael Fleming; parents, Joe and Cora Brown; one sister, Muriel Maxon; two brothers Kirby Brown and Curtis Brown. She is survived by one son, Kenneth Fleming, Walnut Grove, MO; two grandchildren, Franklin Fleming and Elizabeth Fleming; two great grandchildren, Kayana and Kenlie Fleming; one brother, Don Brown; and a host of family and friends.
Graveside services will held in Lutie Cemetery in Theodoshia, MO, at a later date. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO.
