Nora Elizabeth Manley, age 106, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Friday, December 31, 2010, in Cox South. She was born September 15, 1904, in Cole Camp, Mo., to Timothy and Ellen (Blaylock) England. She was a homemaker and member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Springfield.
She was preceded in death by husband, J. Hobart Manley; father and mother, Timothy and Ellen England; one granddaughter, Beth Manley; two brothers; and one sister.
She is survived by two sons, James Manley and Ted Manley, of Springfield, Mo.; two grandchildren, Mike Manley and Steve Manley; four great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Cole, Jaryd Manley and Katie Manley; two step-great-grandsons, Steven Smith and Kevin Smith; three great-great-grandchildren; and four step-great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 5, 2011, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, Mo., with Reverend B.J. Chapman officiating. Burial will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Springfield, Mo. Visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m., on Tuesday, January 4, 2011, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Baptist Church Building Fund.
