The celebration on Nora’s life here on earth began October 17, 1923 when Ransom and Maud Hill brought their little bundle of joy into this world. On Monday, December 26, 2011, Nora decided to partake of a new journey to be with her Lord and Savior. There are a few people who had the kind heart and compassion for life as Nora possessed. Her love for making dolls and creating hand made quilts will live on forever. Nora was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles Norton in 2003. Nora is survived by six siblings, two children, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in Greenlawn Funeral Home East, Springfield, Missouri, with burial immediately following the service at High Prairie Christian Church Cemetery in Fair Grove, Missouri. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to High Prairie Christian Church, noted “Nora Norton” Memorial Fund.
