Norma J Benford, 80, went home to be with the Lord on January 4, 2020.
Norma had a heart that was full of compassion, generosity, and love for others and her Savior. She had a great sense of humor. She never met a stranger and had many friendships that lasted for over 50 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, Grammie, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.
She will be missed by her loving husband, Charles L Benford of 62 years, her children Gari Vernier (Jim), Gail Taylor (Jim), Stuart Benford (Tana), and Steve Benford, ten grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Doris Arterberry, sister-in-law Vicki Arterberry and aunt Maxine Essick Baird, as well as nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Mary Jane Arterberry, sisters Elmeda Randolph, Jodie Revis, Eileen Johnson, and Virginia Arterberry, brothers James Arterberry and Robert Arterberry, brothers-in-law Bill Revis, Richard Johnson, James Derrick and David Randolph.
