Norma L. Essary, age 80, of Springfield, passed away Monday, September 26, 2011. She was born November 4, 1930 to Charles and Lela (Clark) Buckley.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bert Essary in 2008; her father, Charles Buckley and her mother, Lela V. Newman.
She is survived by her children Patty Collins and Charles Essary and wife Jeri; grandchildren and their spouses: Marc E. Essary, Jeffrey J. Collins, Matt D. Essary and Sheri R. Collins; four great-grandchildren; her brother, Marc Newman; She is also survived by her special aunt, Bessie Nimmo and special friend, Wanda Rout, as well as other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 30, 2011 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
