Norman Craig Kauffman was born December 8, 1957, to Norman Kirby Kauffman and Barbara Sue Myers-Kauffman. Craig passed away Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 2021, after a short illness. Craig was a loving son, father, and grandfather. Craig was a 4th generation Springfield resident. He graduated from Kickapoo High School and attended college at Southwest Missouri State University. Craig truly loved the outdoors, camping and floating. He adored his family, especially his newest grandbaby, James. Craig worked full time in his business, Associated Video Producers. He was a member of the Business Builders Breakfast Club, Springfield’s Best Locally Owned Companies, and the Elks Lodge. Most of all we will miss his infectious laughter. He was always witty and fun-loving. Craig was preceded in death by his father, Kirby Kauffman, and his grandparents. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Kauffman, Springfield. Three sons, Bryan Kauffman, wife Amanda and son James. Chris Lindsay, wife Anna and son Elliot, Casey Steele, wife Cierra and daughter Aubree. He is also survived by his girlfriend of five years, Susan Knee, and his loving ex-wife, Michele Kauffman, plus many, many friends and family. Visitation will be Thursday, December 2, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 441 W. Battlefield. A service will be held Friday, December 3, 2021, at 1:00, at Greenlawn South, with graveside services following at Hazelwood Cemetery.
