Nowlan Babcock was born April 4, 1933 in San Francisco, Ca. He married Carol Babcock on May 30, 1966. An amputee since 1964, his persistence and hard work as a local small business owner was an inspiration to his family. After retiring, he volunteered as a teaching assistant at Trinity Christian Academy, for several years until his health declined. He enjoyed fishing and fellowship at Trinity Pentecostal Church. Nowlan is survived by his wife Carol, two sons, Michael (Gayle) and Richard (Brandy), and one grand-daughter Linnea. Visitation is planned for Monday, July 29, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. No funeral services or burial are planned at this time.
