Orvis A. Randleman age 93 of Springfield, MO diedMonday, March 10, 2014 at his home. Orvis was born August, 29,1920 in Buffalo, MO. the son of James W. Randleman and Nora Edna “Austin” Randleman. Orvis was a retired food maintaince worker. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and vegetable gardening. Orvis was a member of the Ozarks Woodworking Guild, making such things as cabinets, Toys for Tots, and any wood related items. Orvis collected pocket watches, and old knives. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son Don Randleman; two sisters Mable and Eldelene; a brother Earl and a grandson Michael Randleman. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Clara Randleman of the home, a daughter and son in law Donna (Mike) Kratzer; ; a sister Bessie Snodgrass, six grandchildren Jeff and Rick Randleman, James, Jon, Dayla and Dayna Kratzer, and nine great grandchildren and many friends. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Northside Christian Church. Funeral services will be Monday, March 17, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Greenlawn North Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at he funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
