Owen Kirby Garton, age 71, of Fair Grove, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, May 19th, 2020 at Mercy Hospital.

Kirby was born on September 7, 1948 in Springfield, Missouri to parents Owen Kenneth and Katie Irene Garton. Kirby enlisted in the US Army in April, 1968, he was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Kirby enjoyed farming, caring for his horses, watching nascar and local races.

Kirby was preceded in death by his parents Owen Kenneth and Katie Irene.
Survivors include his sons Howard (Cassandra) and Michael (Heather), four grandchildren; Shelby, Cooper, Melody and Elijah and a host of other family and friends.

Private family burial to take place in Patterson Cemetery.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have known Kirby for years. He was my daughters baseball coach when she was a kid. He has always been nice to me, and I'm sure he will be very missed by his family and friends.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Kirby was our neighbor for many years. He would stop by to visit if we were outside and we always liked talking to him. We enjoyed seeing his horses in the pasture. He was a good neighbor and friend.
