Pamala Louise (Ryser) Love, age 80 of Buffalo, Missouri, passed away on August 31st, 2026 in Springfield, Missouri. Pam was born to William A. and Lova C. (Rogers) Ryser on January 31st, 1946, in Springfield. She was raised in Strafford, Missouri and graduated from Strafford High school in 1964 where she graduated top of her class. Pam was united in marriage to John Mitchell Love on August 28th, 1964 in Strafford. Pam and John shared 62 years of marriage before Pam’s passing on August 31st, 2026. The couple was blessed with 2 children, Timothy A. Love and Ashley Love.

Pam and John started their marriage serving in the Air Force, stationed at Loring Air Force Base in Limestone, Maine for 4 years. They then returned to Kansas City, Missouri for a short time, before returning to the Strafford/Fair Grove area, to build their lifelong home and raise their family. Pam spent most of her working career in insurance working for State Farm, eventually changing roles and working as an underwriter for American National in Springfield where she finished out her career. When not working she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, baking, singing, and playing the piano. Music was one of her greatest passions and a gift she shared generously with others. Having accepted Christ as her Savior at a young age, she remained deeply involved in her church throughout her life, using her talents as a pianist and singer to serve in worship for many years. Pam had an extraordinary love for the piano and the talent to become a concert pianist, yet she chose to devote her life to creating a loving home and raising her family. Pam also had a loving heart for her dogs, and enjoyed their companionship throughout the years. Nothing, however, brought her more fulfillment than spending time with her family, especially being out on their family farm; admiring new additions to the cattle herd and impromptu bonfires in the ‘back’. Her faith, kindness, and selfless devotion to those she loved were evident in everything she did.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents William and Lova Ryser and sister in-law Carol Ann Ryser. She is survived by her husband John Love. Children Tim (Carol) Love, and Ashley Love. Grandchildren Dylan (Kylee) Love, Kayla (Jonathan) Love, Alyssa (Austin) Osborn, Elizabeth Love, John Love, Waddie (Annie) Love, and Steven (Kelsey) Vestal. Great-grandchildren whom though she didn’t see often she loved whole heartedly, Issac, Thayne, Bergen, Kelby, Spade, Liam, Walker, Quentin, Jacob, Wyatt, Gabe and Jack. Siblings Michael Ryser and Christie (Andre) Kellogg, several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Pam will be held on Friday September 4th, 2026 at 1 PM, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North in Springfield. The funeral will follow the visitation at 2 PM with graveside services to follow at Dishman Cemetery located in Strafford, Missouri.
