Pamela Sue Cody, age 58, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014, in her home, surrounded with all the people that mattered to her the most. Pam was born on April 22, 1955 in Springfield, Missouri.
Pam loved to work in the yard, plant flowers and take care of the birds she was fond of so much. She was her happiest outside doing these things and enjoying life. She also loved to do crafts, such as crochet, cross stitch and candle making – she did it all.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris J. Baker, and brother, Gene Cody.
She is survived by one daughter, Cheri Applegate, and son in law, Shannon Applegate, and two grandchildren, Kodi and Shyanna Applegate. They were her world and she was devoted to them, cherished them to the full extent of her life. She also left behind four sisters, Janett Dixon, Doris Cody, Linda Kelly and Kathy Choate, and one brother, Keith Glenn. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Tyson, which was part of the family. She took him everywhere she went.
She will be extremely missed by family and friends.
