Patricia Caruth Barnett 65 of Springfield, Missouri, passed from this earth on January 23, 2026. She was born on June 28, 1960 to Marcus & Wilma Barnett of Willard, Missouri.  Patty graduated from Willard High School -class of 78.

In her childhood Patty loved to be outdoors spending time with her brother and sister either at their home or when they visited their grandparents in Arkansas. Patty’s love of the outdoors continued as an adult as she went with her friend Lisa to their family’s cabin in the Mark Twain Forest, camping out with all the forest critters. Patty was a nanny/babysitter to several families, giving care and love to kids. She truly loved being with children, she was so much more than just a sitter.  Patty lived in Willard, Ozark, Los Angeles and Springfield. Everywhere Patty lived she always cared for cats, whether in her neighborhood or her home. Patty worked in Urology clinics in Springfield at St Johns and Cox and in Los Angeles Cedars Sinai Medical Center.

Patty was loved by her family, including David & Rhonda, Rachel & Carinne, Nathan; Kathy & Ted, Dalton & Jordan, Paden, Jameson & Emmie Mae and her friends.

A graveside celebration of life will be held at 10:30 am, April 18, 2026 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, donations can be made to the donor’s choice in Patty’s name.
