Patricia Gay Higdon, 65, from Springfield, Mo. passed away on Monday, February 14th, 2011 in her home. She was born April 9th, 1945 in Richmond, Mo. to her parents Victor and Nellie (Houston) Rush.
She was a homemaker for over 47 years taking care of her children and grandchildren whom she loved and cherished. She was an avid yard seller, dancer, and singer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor & Nellie (Houston) Rush; eight brothers and sisters; grandchildren, Baby Boy McCutchen, Michael McCutchen, and Baby Girl Moore.
She is survived by her children, Debbie and Phil Sedgewick of Springfield, Mo, Julie & Chris Myers of Forsyth, Mo, Joe D. Moore and Family of Springfield, Mo, Sandie & Brett Silverio of Springfield, Mo, LeAnn and Larry Cook of Rogersville, Mo, and BJ and Terri Higdon of Springfield, Mo.; twenty-five grandchildren, Ajay, James, and Ricky McCutchen and Families, LaTosha Goss, Tiffany, Johnny, Tony, Joey, Tommy, Jimmy, Buddy & C.J. Moore, Leslie Moore, LB Silverio, Scottie, Daniel, and Cassie Keller, Josh, Mark & Noah Cook, Alexa Gibbs and Jad-I-Bug; thirteen great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Judy, Shirley, Linda and their families.
She was a mom and grandma to all.
Memorial services will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home North on Thursday February 17, 2011 from 3:00-5:00 P.M.
