Patti Kelley, age 64, of Springfield, joined the heavenly choir on Thursday, January 7, 2016 after an extended battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was born on December 30, 1951 to James & Mildred Patterson in Savannah, GA. Patti became a Registered Nurse in 1984. She drove OTR with her husband for 6 years. Patti, an avid crafter, also loved to fish and to sing at church.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband Steve of 21 years; 2 daughters: Mendi (Rob) Kelley of Altamonte Springs, FL and Kim Holloway of La Vernia, TX; 3 granddaughters; and numerous relatives.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 10:00 am in Greenlawn North Funeral Home. Visitation will take place Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will be at a later date at Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
