Patrick Jason Holloway (Pat) died Nov. 24, 2022, along with his beloved wife, Shandrea Holloway. Patrick was a dear and devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend. He was always willing to jump in and serve those around him. His life was completely dedicated to Shandrea and his amazing children, Gavin and Hannalee.

He was born in St. Peter’s, Mo., on June 29, 1978, and attended grade school and high school there. After three years at Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri, Pat joined the Navy and served for four years, with deployment overseas, including during and post-9/11. He returned later to Missouri and completed college at Missouri State University, with a double major in English and History.

As his parents each began to face health challenges, Pat was always there to assist with their care, needs around the house and other details. He was also a wonderful uncle to his nephew and niece, Alex and Becca.As he became a father himself, it was a delight to watch him adore his son Gavin. His wife, Shandrea, was an amazing gift to Pat, Gavin and Pat’s entire family.  Her kindness and loving spirit brought out the very best in Pat, along with all those around her. They were married Oct. 18, 2014, in Nixa, Missouri. Their joy was unparalleled in welcoming Hannalee into the world. Gavin and Hannalee completely held their hearts, and their family was a treasure.

Pat will be remembered for his continual love and service for his family, his dry sense of humor, and contagious laugh. Under his typically quiet, reserved manner was an intensely thoughtful and thoroughly kind man. He will be deeply, continually missed by all those who were blessed to know him.

Pat is preceded in death by his mother, Judy (West) Holloway, and father, Roger Holloway. He is survived by his son, Gavin Levi Holloway (10), and Hannalee Everett Holloway (1), brother Mike Holloway (Laura), nephew Alex Holloway and niece Becca Holloway.
