Patsy Ruth (Speake) Harrell, 77 of Springfield, daughter of James and Hazel Speake passed away in her home on Aug. 15th, 2011. She was born on April 13th, 1934 in Springfield Mo. and was a lifelong resident.
Patsy attended Senior High School, and was a homemaker for most of her life. She married Roy Harrell on July 1st, 1950 where they enjoyed 56 years of marriage until Roy’s passing in 2006. Patsy was proceeded in death by her parents and one brother, Jim Speake.
Survivors include one daughter,Linda (Mike) Nevatt Springfield Mo., one son, Mark (Wendy) Harrell, Nixa MO, two brothers, Jack (Elenor) Speake Brentwood TN, Bob (Joanie) Speake Topeka, Kan.; grandchildren Tracy (Dave) Rinehimer Springfield MO, Ryan (June) Harrell Springfield Mo., Megan (Grant) Allen Tuscon AZ Brandon & Samantha Maser Nixa MO, great- grandchildren, Holden Donaldson, Kassie Rinehimer, Kayla Rinehimer, Reagan Rinehimer, Michelle Rinehimer, Reese Harrell, Tiffany Harrell and great-great-grandchild ,Nova Rayn.
Services and visitation will be held in Greenlawn Funeral Home South, 441 W Battlefield St.
Springfield, Mo. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m., Thurs., Aug. 18th and services
are 9:30 a.m., Fri., Aug. 19th. Burial will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Rd. Springfield Mo.
