It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patty Harralson, who passed away on October 23, 2026, at the age of 84 in St. Louis, MO. She was born on January 16, 1942, to Paul and Faye McKinney in Morrisville, MO.

Patty graduated from Marion C. Early High School in Morrisville, MO and was a devoted homemaker, filling her home with love and unwavering support. She loved to travel and always had a bag ready to go, visiting forty-nine states and several countries.

Along with her late husband Gary they were supporters of MO State Athletics, following the Bears/Lady Bears in several NCAA Tournaments. In addition, she was a mall walker for 30 years forming cherished friendships. She was a fan of puzzles, spending time with family, and studying geology to examine her family’s roots.

Patty is survived by her son, Doug Harralson; her daughter, Piki Hays, and son-in-law, Jeff Hays; her grandchildren, Cooper and Sophie Hays; her brother, Paul McKinney Jr. (“Son”) his wife Sharon; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness and friendship.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gary, and sister Carol Edmundson.

“Nothing brought Patty greater joy than time spent with her family, especially making memories with her grandchildren.”

Services for Patty Harralson will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Greenlawn Funeral Home East, Springfield, MO. Burial will follow at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens, Springfield MO.
