Paul Clements, 86, died Saturday, September 15, 2012. He was born to OT and Pansy Clements December 1, 1925 on Spencer Ave. (north Fremont) in Springfield, where he lived his entire life. After proudly serving with the Army during WWII, most of his working years were spent at Lily Tulip and General Electric. He married Dottie Stigall November 15, 1947.
Paul was preceded in death by his son Tom, and two sisters Martha Kinyon and Virginia Latham. He is survived by his wife Dottie, daughter Cam Foster (Cap), grandchildren Corie Summers (Matt) and John Ikenroth (Kimmie), six great grandchildren Madeline, Camryn and Caitlin Summers, Alex, Lola and Seven Ikenroth, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Funeral services will be held at Macedonia Baptist Church Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. with Charles Hufft and Rich Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Macedonias’s Day Care building fund.
